How to Connect Your Square Account

Once your Square account is connected, a payment button will be added to all invoices you send to your customers allowing them to pay with their credit or debit card. Don't have a Square account? You can open one today and start accepting online payments.

All Square processing fees you are normally charged are still incurred when your customers pay you.

To connect your Square account to Direct Sidekick first navigate to the Payment Settings page in Direct Sidekick by clicking on Finance under the Setting menu on the left side of the page. Then click Payment Settings.

Next click the Connect Square button. This will redirect you to Square.

You will need to log into your Square account then click the Allow button that authorizes Direct Sidekick to connect to your account.

You will now see a green checkmark and the word Verified to show you are connected.

When your customers pay your invoices the status will automatically update to Paid.
